• The use of metformin in patients with active pulmonary hypertension (i.e., with and without a history of or predisposition to PHT) is contraindicated.
• Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to metformin, other substances, to any of the mentioned ingredients of the product, to the active substances of the product, to the excipients or to any of the excipients of the product.
• Patients with liver dysfunction (including cirrhosis of the liver) should not use metformin.
• Patients with renal impairment should not use metformin.
